My Birthday Wish: A Random Act Of Kindness 24 October 2023
You may ask, what this is all about. Let me give you some more information. This year I am turning 55years old. This wouldn't have been the case, if I would have not received a life saving surgery on the 16th March 2023. This experience of a prolonged illness and eventually three surgeries at the Neurosurgery at the Tygerberg hospital in Cape Town, were not only humbling, but magical and truly life changing. Does this kind of surgery change ones perspective? Well, I cannot speak for others, but only for myself: YES IT DOES and IT DID! This is the reason for my wish: Random Acts of Kindness on the 24 October 2023!! What better birthday gift, then to bathe in the knowledge, that kindness is being spread. So go wild and be generous with kindness. Smile at somebody, extend your hand, hug somebody who looks sad, speak to somebody you don't know, feed a stray and cuddle a stray, hug a child, forgive - what ever blows your mind. JUST BE KIND!
